25 things you probably don't know about me!

I thought I would lighten the mood after my last post, and my friend Karen Hrstka-Logan suggested this topic!! I thought it would be fun, kind of a cheer-me-up post, and it really made me have to think about what people may or may not know about me!

Here are 25 things you probably don't know about me:

1 - I was a closet Barbra Streisand listener in high school.
2 - My favorite flower is any flower that is white. White roses, daisies....I do not like red roses.
3 - Cherry pie is my favorite!
4 - I do not like dresses (I think I have skinny legs)
5 - I love a good pair of stilettos - my black leather with silver studs on the 4.5 inch heel are my sexiest pair.
6 - Think pickles should be a banned food. And Lima beans :-)
7 -  Would love to own a Clydesdale horse someday.
8 - Ave Maria sung by Perry Como will ALWAYS make me cry.
9 - I am incredibly shy, and somewhat insecure.
10 - Love sports cars.
11 - Got my first tattoo when I was 43. I have seven tattoos - two of them are quarter sleeves.
12 - I had a pierced nose for several years.
13 - I can eat an entire Angel Food cake in one sitting :-)
14 - I can't hold my alcohol. One glass of red wine makes me loopy.
15 - I don't like sushi or Indian food.
16 - I can bake a mean Baklava. I have had friends refer to it as "food sex."
17 - I hated math in school, still hate math. I have a calculator on my phone, it's all good!
18 - I always wanted to be a veterinarian, but the whole "math" thing killed that possibility.
19 - I read all of J.R.R. Tolkiens books before age 13. Smaug is tattooed around my left ankle.
20 - I have always wanted a hairless cat, especially now. Why I adopted a white cat is beyond me!
21 - I think Mark Harmon and Adam Levine are two of the sexiest men EVER.
22 - Love to listen to Pink - turned up really loud - in my car.
23 - Would love to own a pet duck.
24 - Love Great Danes, Mastiffs, and Leonbergers, but somehow managed to adopt a Chihuahua.
25 - Am learning who my real friends are these days, and appreciating each and every one of them.

It's been awhile!

Well, hello blog! It's been awhile! I haven't written in over a year, so many things have changed! Some for the good, some for the not so good, but my life in general is wonderful!

I am still learning, each and every day, to be grateful for what I have and the wonderful people that I have in my life. I feel blessed.

So, with that said, I think it is time to start writing on my blog once again. I do find it therapeutic to vent verbally, both in positive and not so nice ways.....it is rather "cleansing."

I am getting my day started, breakfast, grocery shopping (I dread that one) and then church at Reverb! Later today, I will begin my first official "new blog." Any suggestions???
